Asset Marketing Management
Proper marketing does not stop with signs, brochures and newspaper ads. To ensure a successful
marketing event merchandise must be properly described, cataloged and made ready for sale. Our team of professionals place
detailed attention to how an auction is set-up to assure that popular items are sold at the peak time to enhance the final
sales price.
Details are an important part of our success. From the time you sign the Auction Marketing
Agreement until you receive your settlement check each item goes through a 15 point check list to assure that the highest
price possible is obtained. Following the auction you will receive a detailed report that contains each item description,
sales price and the buyer as well as the amount of proceeds you will receive from the auction.
Online Marketing
The World Wide Web as opened up an unlimited amount of auction buyers around the globe.
Each Great American Auction offers buyers the opportunity to absentee bids online prior to the auction. Depending on the auction
Great American can offer Live Online Auction services through several venues including E-Bay Live and Proxibid.
We also offer online only auctions for smaller quantity auctions with the same marketing
effort as a large auction.
Certified Appraisals
Need to know the value of one item or a thousand? While many firms offer appraisals, few
offer certified appraisals. A Certified Appraisal follows the guidelines of professional appraisal techniques set forth by
USPAP standards. A Certified Appraisal will be recognized by courts, IRS, insurance companies and financial institutions.
Before hiring any appraiser ask them "Will you testify in court about the content of your appraisal?" If an appraisal ends
up in the courtroom your appraiser should be able to testify to the comparables and research used to obtain the appraised
value.
